No Experience Needed
Kids don’t need fishing experience to have a great time out here. Captain Marvin is patient, hands-on, and great at explaining things in a way children understand.
We focus on:

- Simple, effective setups (no complicated gear)
- Plenty of help with baiting hooks, casting, and landing fish
- Short, comfortable runs when possible (less time traveling, more time fishing)

What We’ll Do on a Kids Trip
A typical kids trip is designed to get lines in the water quickly and keep the action steady. Depending on conditions, we may fish:

Captain Marvin will coach your kids through the basics: how to hold the rod, when to reel, what a bite feels like, and how to bring fish to the boat. Parents are welcome to fish too, or simply relax and enjoy the ride.

What to Expect
on a 30A Bay Guide Service Charter
Captain & Boat
You’ll fish with Captain Marvin Glasgow, a skilled inshore angler who loves helping families experience the best of 30A fishing. He runs a restored 22’ Cape Horn bay boat that’s built for inshore comfort and versatility.
The boat is equipped with modern GPS, fishfinder, and VHF radio, plus a wireless trolling motor for quiet positioning. There’s also a livewell and an ice box to keep things chilled and comfortable on board.
What's Included
Captain Marvin makes it easy — everything you need to fish is included. Your trip includes rods, reels, tackle, bait, and the required fishing licenses for your group. The boat is fully equipped for a smooth day on the water, and if you decide to keep fish, Captain Marvin will clean and bag your catch at the end of the trip.
All you need to bring is weather-appropriate clothing, sun protection, and your own snacks and drinks.
Where We Launch
Trips can launch from Santa Rosa Beach, Freeport, or Panama City Beach depending on the day’s conditions and your trip plan. Captain Marvin will confirm the best launch location ahead of time so your family has the smoothest run and the best chance at a great bite.
